The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a California Traffic Collision

The visionary game developer, the mind behind the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in the state of California he was 55 years old.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The renowned video game developer lost his life when his car crashed and burst into flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, US media outlets report.

"We are facing a devastating loss, and we stand with his family and friends, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
